UNITED LAB (03933) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, with revenue of RMB 6.166 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 18%; the profit attributable to shareholders for the period was RMB 348 million, a year-on-year decrease of 81.6%; the basic earnings per share were 17.62 cents. The Group views innovative research and development as the core engine driving corporate growth, continuously increasing R&D investment and recruiting scientific talent. Through diversified collaboration models such as independent research and development and cooperative development, it expands its innovative product lines, enhances new drug R&D and clinical capabilities, and accelerates the research and practical application of innovative technologies and products. During the period, the Group invested a total of RMB 469 million in drug development, with R&D expenses decreasing by 14.8% year-on-year. Of this, the expensed R&D investment amounted to RMB 438.9 million, while the capitalized R&D investment was RMB 30.2 million. The Group has established a comprehensive R&D system, including multiple platforms for biological R&D, chemical drug R&D, bio-fermentation and chemical synthesis research, animal health R&D, and clinical research. Currently, there are 40 new drugs under development, of which 23 are Class 1 new drugs, focusing on endocrine, metabolism, autoimmune diseases, ophthalmology, and anti-infection fields. There are 67 new products in development for animal health, covering both economic and companion animals comprehensively. Additionally, the development of APIs, the evaluation of the quality and therapeutic consistency of generic drugs, and medical aesthetic projects are all progressing steadily.
