OSL GROUP (00863) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, reporting revenue of HKD 55.813 billion, a year-on-year increase of 65.76%; the loss attributable to shareholders was HKD 861 million; and the loss per share was HKD 0.98. Despite the decline in digital asset prices and the overall weak sentiment in the industry, the Group still achieved strong growth in trading volume and reported revenue. Total trading volume increased significantly by approximately 241.3% year-on-year to about HKD 172 billion, and reported revenue rose by approximately 65.8% year-on-year to about HKD 55.8 billion. Excluding the trading volume from market-making transactions executed by the Groups exchange, the trading volume for the first half of 2026 was HKD 97.7 billion (first half of 2025: HKD 45.4 billion), an increase of 115.2% year-on-year, reflecting the activity of fundamental clients. After excluding the net loss from digital assets used to facilitate digital asset trading services and the net loss from the fair value of digital assets, adjusted revenue, in accordance with non-International Financial Reporting Standards, increased by 75.5% year-on-year to HKD 331 million, supported by growth in payment business, integration with Banxa, and the launch of stablecoin distribution and payment products. The robust growth in scale and reported revenue validates the Groups core market positionthrough strategic investments in global connectivity, global licenses, instant settlement, and deep liquidity, the Group has transformed into a leading global stablecoin infrastructure company. These core capabilities have become the Group's foundational advantages, collectively forming a moat that takes years to build and is difficult to replicate.
