BYD Company Limited (01211) has completed its 10,000th flash charging station, achieving a key milestone in flash charging in China.

On August 28, 2026, the "Flash Charge China" strategy reached a critical milestone. BYD Company Limited continues to expand its network of flash charging stations, with the 10,000th flash charge station, the Shenzhen Longhua flagship station, officially completed. This achievement sets three records for Chinese automotive companies: the largest number of self-built charging stations in the country, the fastest completion of 10,000 charging stations, and the broadest geographic coverage of charging stations nationwide. The extensive flash charging network makes finding a flash charging station as convenient as finding a gas station. Wang Junbao, General Manager of BYD Company Limited's Flash Charge Business, stated that these 10,000 flash charge stations cover 332 cities, with 4,228 being designated dream stations, fulfilling the aspirations of 74,281 users. First- and second-tier cities achieve 100% coverage of flash chargers, and in core cities such as Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xian, and Chongqing, there is an average of one flash charge station every 3 kilometers in urban areas, making it as easy to find a flash charging station as it is to find a gas station. In third- and fourth-tier cities, the coverage rate also reaches 100%, with flash charge stations available within an average of 4 kilometers in urban areas. From urban centers, rural counties, and expressway networks to tourist routes and extreme landscapes, BYD Company Limited's flash charge stations are ubiquitous. From Hohhot in Inner Mongolia to Sanya in Hainan, from Shuangyashan in Heilongjiang to Kashgar in Xinjiang, even at the highest point on Mount Everest, the hottest place in Turpan, and the most remote location in Horgos, BYD Company Limited's flash charge stations can be found. Good technology is accessible to everyone, genuinely making charging as fast as refueling. With a disruptive charging experience of "5 minutes for a good charge, 9 minutes to a full charge, and only 3 additional minutes at -30," users save time, worry, and money. As of now, the total user count for BYD Company Limited's nationwide flash charge stations has surpassed 1.83 million, with users of other brands accounting for nearly one-third, truly embodying the principle that "good technology is accessible to everyone." Moreover, within less than six months of operation, BYD Company Limited's flash charge stations have exceeded a cumulative electricity charging volume of 210 million kilowatt-hours, setting the industry's fastest record. At the flash charge station in Beijing's Jindu Automotive City on August 22, a single charging gun delivered more than 2,983 kilowatt-hours in a day, serving 54 vehicles within that same day. BYD Company Limited's flash charging not only matches the speed of traditional refueling but also achieves a similar turnover rate. Collaborating with multiple parties to build a flash charging ecosystem, creating a one-stop service system.
