Xinyi Energy (03868) and Xinyi Solar (00968) jointly announced that the proposed investment fund for a solar power plant project has been recommended by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China to the China Securities Regulatory Commission for listing in China.
XINYI ENERGY (03868) and XINYI SOLAR (00968) jointly announced that the proposal for an infrastructure investment fund (CECEP Solar Energy Power Plant Project) to be listed in China has been recommended by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China to the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
The XINYI ENERGY New Energy Fund Project (XINYI ENERGY New Energy REIT) is an investment fund proposed to be established in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in China, which will hold selected CECEP Solar Energy power plant projects currently owned and operated by XINYI ENERGY. The XINYI ENERGY New Energy REIT is planned to be listed on a securities exchange in China, subject to the approval and exemptions from the relevant regulatory authorities in Hong Kong and China.
The relevant assets of the XINYI ENERGY New Energy REIT include selected CECEP Solar Energy power plant projects currently owned and operated by XINYI ENERGY. In terms of the establishment of the XINYI ENERGY New Energy REIT and the proposed listing in China, the selected CECEP Solar Energy power plant projects will be sold to or injected into the XINYI ENERGY New Energy REIT.
