ZHAOJIN MINING (01818) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, reporting revenues of RMB 9.022 billion, an increase of 29.38% year-on-year; profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company was RMB 1.578 billion, up 9.61% year-on-year; and earnings per share were RMB 0.42. During this period, domestic mining safety production supervision remained stringent, and regulatory inspection efforts were comprehensively upgraded. The international gold price experienced a sharp decline, compounded by two safety incidents at the groups subsidiary mines, placing multiple pressures on the group's operations. As of June 30, 2026, the affected mines remained suspended, resulting in a temporary stagnation in the capacity enhancement phase and a contraction in output scale at the production mines, placing operational pressure on the company. In the face of a severe and complex internal and external environment, all employees of the group united their efforts to actively respond by fully implementing measures for risk prevention, addressing shortcomings, and stabilizing production and operations, employing multiple strategies to mitigate various operational pressures. In the first half of the year, the group's overall production and operations were stable and orderly, with the operational fundamentals remaining robust. During this period, the group continued to increase its investment in mineral resource exploration, with geological exploration spending of RMB 92 million, resulting in steady improvements in both the quality and scale of resource reserves. Significant breakthroughs in regional mineral discovery were achieved with the drilling of thick ore bodies in the northern part of the Dayinge Mining Area. Exploration efforts in areas such as King Gold Mining and Jinzhi Mining yielded considerable results. During this period, the group added a gold metal volume of 28.46 tons through exploration, solidifying its long-term resource foundation. In terms of external resource expansion, the group adhered to a resource layout strategy of internal and external linkage, completing the acquisition of exploration rights for the periphery of Zhaojin Baiyun in China and successfully bidding for the exploration rights of Wasunjiaba in Zhaoyuan City, Shandong, continuously enhancing its resource reserve capacity.
