SHENZHEN INVEST (00604) announced that it expects the Group to record an unaudited consolidated loss attributable to equity shareholders ranging from approximately HKD 1.9 billion to HKD 2.1 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (the period). In the same period of 2025, an unaudited consolidated loss attributable to equity shareholders of approximately HKD 2.62 billion was recorded.
It is expected that the loss attributable to equity shareholders will decrease compared to the same period last year, mainly due to the combined net effect of the following factors:
1) A decrease in losses from joint ventures and impairment losses of joint ventures during the period; 2) An increase in inventory write-downs during the period; 3) A decrease in the gross profit margin of properties completed and delivered to buyers during the period. Among these, the positive impact of the decrease in item (1) outweighed the negative impacts of items (2) and (3), resulting in a reduction in the overall loss attributable to equity shareholders.
