KAFELAKU COFFEE (01869) announced that on August 12, 2026, the company entered into a placement agreement with the placement agent. The company conditionally agreed to place up to 282 million placement shares at a placement price of HKD 0.039 per share through the placement agent to no fewer than six subscribers on a best-efforts basis. The placement shares represent approximately 14.3% of the expanded issued share capital, and the placement price of HKD 0.039 per share reflects a discount of approximately 17.02% compared to the closing price of HKD 0.047 per share on August 12, 2026. Assuming all placement shares are fully allocated, the estimated total proceeds from the placement and the net proceeds (after deducting placement commission and other related expenses as well as professional fees) will be HKD 11 million and approximately HKD 10.77 million, respectively. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the placement for the operation of its business and general working capital.
