The fleet scale continues to expand. As of July 31, 2026, our global Level 4 fleet consists of approximately 3,400 vehicles, including over 1,800 global autonomous taxi vehicles.
Operational metrics for domestic autonomous taxis have significantly improved. In the second quarter of 2026, the average daily order volume per vehicle exceeded 21, an increase of about 24% quarter-on-quarter, with a peak of 28 orders completed per vehicle in a single day. In the second quarter of 2026, registered users of WeRide's autonomous taxi service grew by 35% quarter-on-quarter, with taxi revenues increasing by approximately 140% quarter-on-quarter.
The overseas light-asset model is steadily advancing. We are accelerating the deployment of autonomous taxis overseas, especially in Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, the UAE, and Singapore. As of the date of this announcement, our autonomous driving business has expanded to over 60 cities in 13 countries worldwide.
Han Xu, founder, chairman, and CEO of WeRide, stated: "In the second quarter of 2026, WeRide made significant progress in overseas acceleration, light-asset expansion, and self-sustaining capability building. Total revenue nearly doubled year-on-year, gross margin climbed to 37.5%, and operating efficiency continued to improve. The operational efficiency of domestic Robotaxi significantly increased, with average daily orders per vehicle exceeding 21 and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 24%. Registered users grew by 35% quarter-on-quarter, and taxi revenue increased by approximately 140% quarter-on-quarter, while our economic model per vehicle continued to optimize. Technologically, both our fleet of 3,400 Level 4 vehicles represented by Robotaxi and the end-to-end L2++ solutions, which delivered approximately 30,000 units in a single quarter, have achieved large-scale commercial deployment, further establishing WeRide's leading position in the industry. The complete safety verification records accumulated from long-term scaled operations and experience from multiple locations build a solid competitive barrier. WeRide is moving from technological leadership to global scale deployment, initiating the next phase of autonomous driving commercialization."
Li Xuan, CFO and head of international operations at WeRide, stated: "WeRide's revenue continues to grow rapidly and is steadily progressing on the path of self-sustaining growth. Leveraging excellent performance of our autonomous vehicles and a mature overseas ecological layout, our light-asset model possesses excellent replicability and is rapidly scaling in multiple cities. Although global autonomous driving commercialization is still in its early stages, the market space is vast and growth certainty is high. This model exhibits outstanding marginal economic benefits and is expected to continuously provide stable cash flow contributions, becoming an important profit center and cash flow business for the company. Meanwhile, our end-to-end L2++/L3 solution has entered a fast-growing commercialization phase, opening another high-growth revenue channel for the company. The company will continue to seek balanced development between business barriers, scale expansion, and cash flow stability, and will adhere to this path for steady progress in the long term."
