Fosun Pharma (02196) announced that its holding subsidiary, Fosun Pharma (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd., has recently been granted approval by the National Medical Products Administration for the drug registration application of Salbutamol Hydrochloride Inhalation Solution (hereinafter referred to as "the drug"). The approved indication is for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm caused by reversible airway obstructive diseases in adults and children over 6 years old.
Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (02196) announced that its holding subsidiary, Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Xuzhou) Co., Ltd., has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration for the drug registration application of Salbutamol Hydrochloride Aerosol Inhalation Solution (hereinafter referred to as "the drug"). The approved indication is for the treatment or prevention of bronchospasm caused by reversible airway obstructive diseases in adults and children over 6 years old.
This drug is a chemical product independently developed by the group. As of June 2026, the group has cumulatively invested approximately RMB 5.66 million (unaudited) in research and development for this drug. According to the latest data from IOVIA CHPA, in 2025, the sales revenue of Salbutamol Hydrochloride Aerosol Inhalation Solution in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) is estimated to be approximately RMB 73 million.
