In terms of news, it has been reported that the Trump administration will impose a 15% tariff on products made from polysilicon and set a series of minimum import prices, with related measures expected to be announced as early as Thursday. Additionally, a recent research report from Soochow indicated that on the supply side, production capacity remains significantly excessive, and demand growth is slowing: multi-link demand is only about half of the production capacity, and the operating rate remains low as the industry shifts from expansion to inventory control. Profitability is still at a low point, with recovery relying on supply optimization: the main segments are generally under pressure, industry prices are hovering at the bottom, and subsequent supply improvements and price rebounds are expected to gradually clear excess inventory.
