SHANSHUI CEMENT (00691) announced its interim results for 2026, with revenue of approximately 4.074 billion yuan, a decrease of 26.6% compared to the same period last year; the loss attributable to shareholders was approximately 726 million yuan, an increase of about 1.9 times year-on-year; the basic loss per share was 0.17 yuan. The announcement stated that the decrease in revenue was mainly due to weak market demand during the period, leading to declines in both cement sales and prices. During the reporting period, the group sold a total of 16.602 million tons of cement and clinker, a decrease of 15.3% year-on-year; sales of ready-mixed concrete reached 1.021 million cubic meters, an increase of 47.1% year-on-year. According to monitoring data from CCA Digital Cement Network, the national average price of cement in the first half of the year was 334 yuan/ton (P.042.5 bulk, transaction settled price), a decrease of 52 yuan/ton compared to the same period last year, representing a year-on-year decline of nearly 14%. The increase in losses was mainly due to the decline in both cement sales and prices, as well as an increase in management expenses year-on-year (primarily due to increased one-time severance benefits).
