The Hong Kong government has re-appointed Chen Zuheng as the chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, effective August 6th.
On July 24, the Hong Kong SAR government announced that the Chief Executive has reappointed Chen Zuheng as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) for a term of two years, effective from August 6, 2026.

Professor Alfred Tan, Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the Hong Kong SAR Government, welcomed the reappointment of Chen Zuheng as the Chairman of the HKPC. He said, "Under the excellent leadership of Mr. Chen Zuheng in the past two years, the HKPC has supported the government's innovation and technology policies, actively cooperating with the national '15th Five-Year Plan' to vigorously develop new industrialization. He has led the HKPC in supporting the government's policy direction to promote the integration and application of artificial intelligence in various industries, and has also established the 'Overseas Service Center' to support companies in leveraging Hong Kong's international advantages to expand into global markets. I look forward to continuing to work closely with him to promote Hong Kong's new industrialization and advanced manufacturing sectors, and cultivate more talents in innovation and technology."
Chen Zuheng was first appointed as the Chairman of the HKPC in August 2022.
The HKPC was established in 1967 with the aim of enhancing Hong Kong's productivity and providing comprehensive support services across the value chain for Hong Kong companies with innovation and growth as their foundation. The industries primarily supported by the HKPC are Hong Kong's manufacturing industry and related service industries, with a focus on Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area as the main service regions. The HKPC provides a wide range of support services to its clients, including product development, consultancy, training, and technology transfer.
