According to sources, it is already expected that Ant Group will go public internationally, and this round of financing may aim to increase its revenue size.
On July 21st, Ant International announced the completion of its Series A financing. According to media reports, the amount of this round of financing is approximately $1.2 billion, with investors including Ant Group, as well as some existing shareholders including Alibaba and several internationally renowned investment institutions. The funds raised will be used for global business expansion, investment in cutting-edge technology, and the widening of inclusive financial technology services such as cross-border payments and global accounts.
The report stated that this round of financing may accelerate its possible listing in Hong Kong. In May 2025, Ant International was the first to announce its intention to go public, with reports stating that Ant International plans to go public in Hong Kong. In June 2026, there were reports again that Ant International is planning to raise approximately $1 billion to accelerate its business expansion and pave the way for a possible listing in Hong Kong within the year.
Insiders revealed that there have been expectations for the listing of Ant International, and this round of financing may be aimed at increasing its revenue scale.
Public information shows that Ant International was spun off from Ant Group in 2024 and began operating independently. Based in Singapore, it is the core subsidiary of Ant Group responsible for global business operations. Its business covers major markets in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, connecting over 150 million global merchants and more than 2 billion consumer accounts. It has innovation, settlement, and operation centers in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Ant International has four major business segments: Alipay+ (cross-border mobile payments and digital platforms), Antom (merchant payments and digital services), Bettr (inclusive financial services), and WorldFirst (a one-stop overseas account and fund management service). It focuses on enhancing global payment interoperability, developing AI-driven merchant payments, financial management, and fintech solutions, and building a broad cooperation network with financial institutions, tech companies, and merchants both domestically and internationally.
