Shenzhen Energy Group (000027.SZ): Intends to invest in and construct the Astana Energy Eco-Park project.

Shenzhen Energy Group (000027.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen Energy (Hong Kong) International Limited (referred to as Shenzhen Energy Hong Kong), plans to invest in and construct the Kazakhstan Astana Energy Ecological Park project through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Central Asia Clean Energy Limited (referred to as Central Asia Clean Energy Company), which is owned by its holding company, Eastern Hope Limited Liability Company (referred to as Eastern Hope Company). The total planned investment for the project is 196.63 million US dollars (equivalent to 1.36054 billion RMB). In order to meet the funding needs of the project, the company plans to increase its capital to Shenzhen Energy Hong Kong by 50.14 million US dollars; then Shenzhen Energy Hong Kong will increase its capital to Central Asia Clean Energy Company by 50.14 million US dollars; finally, Central Asia Clean Energy Company will increase its capital to Eastern Hope Company by 50.14 million US dollars according to an 85% shareholding ratio (equivalent to 346.93 million RMB). The project is located in the capital city of Astana, Kazakhstan, and will use a mechanical grate incinerator to burn waste for power generation. It will include 2 mechanical grate incinerators with a processing capacity of 750 tons per day, accompanied by a medium temperature ultra-high pressure waste heat boiler to ensure stable and efficient incineration of municipal waste. The installed capacity of the project's generator is 50 MW, and it plans to connect to a nearby substation at a voltage level of 110 kV, with the local government responsible for the supporting infrastructure construction. This project, as the company's first overseas solid waste treatment project, is a key initiative for the company to implement its "15th Five-Year Plan" and expand its overseas green energy business.
