On July 3, the Hong Kong Land Registry released the statistics for June 2026. In June, a total of 9434 building sale and purchase agreements were submitted to the Land Registry for registration (an increase of 10.5% from May, and an increase of 29.7% compared to June of the previous year). The twelve-month moving average for building sale and purchase agreements in June was 7817 (an increase of 2.4% from May, and an increase of 34.5% compared to June of the previous year). The total value of building sale and purchase agreements in June was 828 billion Hong Kong dollars (an increase of 13.7% from May, and an increase of 24.7% compared to June of the previous year). Of the above-mentioned sale and purchase agreements, residential building sale and purchase agreements accounted for 7650 (an increase of 7.2% from May, and an increase of 28.5% compared to June of the previous year). The total value of residential building sale and purchase agreements in June was 756 billion Hong Kong dollars (an increase of 15.3% from May, and an increase of 23.8% compared to June of the previous year). The number of searches conducted by citizens in June was 505,404 (an increase of 12.3% from May, and an increase of 23.3% compared to June of the previous year).
