On the news front, recently, NVIDIA introduced the Rubin 100% liquid cooling technology solution on its official social media account. NVIDIA stated that the Rubin liquid cooling solution can increase the cooling liquid temperature up to 45 degrees Celsius, achieving a perfect combination of efficient heat dissipation and energy consumption reduction. In addition, this technology utilizes techniques such as large cold plates and microchannels to optimize the internal heat exchange effect of the whole machine. As single cabinet power consumption exceeds 200kW, NVIDIA's Rubin architecture is upgrading liquid cooling from a local component heat dissipation solution to a core mainstream architecture for large-scale AI data centers, achieving "end-to-end liquid cooling at the system level and maximizing reduction of dependence on air cooling." Public information shows that the focus of Cig Shanghai's liquid cooling business is on immersion liquid cooling technology. Compared to traditional air cooling, optical modules operate in the immersion cooling liquid, significantly improving heat dissipation efficiency. Previously at the OFC exhibition, the company demonstrated its 800G QSFP-DD DR8 immersion liquid-cooled optical module, which resulted in a temperature reduction of at least 10C and a power consumption reduction of 0.5W to 1W per single module. Currently, the company has globally pioneered the immersion liquid-cooled 800G OSFP DR8 optical module, using self-developed optical and liquid path isolation patented technology, and has begun mass production.
