On May 30th, the National Energy Administration released the data on the issuance and trading of green power certificates for April 2026. In April 2026, the National Energy Administration issued 237 million green certificates, involving 1.8148 million renewable energy generation projects, of which 177 million green certificates were tradable, accounting for 74.85%. This period issued 171 million green certificates corresponding to renewable energy generation in March 2026, accounting for 72.16%.

In April 2026, a total of 71.1 million green certificates were traded nationwide, with 29.72 million green certificates traded in CHINA GREEN power transactions.
In April 2026, a total of 41.38 million green certificates were traded independently nationwide, including 4.22 million green certificates traded for electricity generated in 2024, with an average price of 1.12 yuan per certificate; 35.12 million green certificates traded for electricity generated in 2025, with an average price of 4.63 yuan per certificate; and 2.04 million green certificates traded for electricity generated in 2026, with an average price of 5.84 yuan per certificate.
