According to statistics from CINNO Research, the global market for AMOLED smartphone panels shipped approximately 210 million units in the first quarter of 2026, a year-on-year decrease of 0.7% and a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 19.7%. Despite facing market challenges, the overall shipment performance remains stable, with no significant year-on-year decline. This is mainly due to a clear structural differentiation in terminal procurement strategies: due to a significant increase in upstream storage chip costs, domestic Android brands have generally tightened their procurement plans due to cost pressures, while Apple and Samsung have maintained stable procurement due to supply chain advantages and high profitability resilience.
In addition, some domestic panel manufacturers on the supply side have actively front-loaded future demand to maintain production line operating rates and mitigate the risk of future price increases, further supporting the first-quarter shipment performance. If future terminal demand does not improve, the market may continue to be under pressure.
