Rongzun International Holdings (01780) announced that Wangbo Capital Limited (a corporation licensed to conduct Type 1 (securities trading) and Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance) has been appointed as the independent financial advisor to provide advice to the independent board committee and independent shareholders on the takeover offer (especially on whether the offer is fair and reasonable and should be accepted), and such appointment has been approved by the independent board committee in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code.
