Hong Kong Trillions of MPF advisor company GUM announced that in April of this year, the "GUM Trillions of MPF Composite Index" rose by 6.3% to 298.4 points. In April, the average person earned 20,231 Hong Kong dollars, and from the beginning of the year until now, the average person earned 13,742 Hong Kong dollars. Despite the fluctuating progress of the US-Iran talks, the market tends to believe that the Hormuz Strait will eventually be unblocked. With optimistic expectations, global assets surged rapidly in April, and Trillions of MPF also successfully turned losses into gains.
GUM Executive Director Chen Ruilong stated that AI is developing rapidly and the Asia region, serving as the "shovel seller," benefits greatly by providing advanced processes, hardware, computational power, and components for AI. Asian stock funds are the best-performing category of Trillions of MPF funds this year, with a rise of 16.7% from the beginning of the year until now.
GUM Chief Investment Officer Liu Jiahong mentioned a positive outlook on the performance of American stock funds and Asian funds in Trillions of MPF. US corporate profits in the first quarter exceeded expectations, and Asia is a key supply chain in the AI wave, with both regions having solid fundamental support.
