National Development and Reform Commission: Starting from 24:00 on March 23, the domestic prices of gasoline and diesel will be increased by 1160 yuan and 1115 yuan per ton respectively.
According to the current price mechanism, the domestic prices of gasoline and diesel (standard quality) should be increased by 2205 yuan and 2120 yuan per ton on March 23, respectively. After adjustments, the actual increases are 1160 yuan and 1115 yuan.
On March 23rd, the National Development and Reform Commission announced that due to the escalation of the US-Iran conflict, international crude oil prices rose significantly, especially in the Middle East, reaching historic highs. In order to mitigate the impact of the abnormal increase in international oil prices and ensure the stable operation of the economy and the well-being of society, temporary control measures were implemented for domestic refined oil prices while maintaining the current price mechanism framework. According to the current price mechanism, the prices of domestic gasoline and diesel (standard) should be increased by 2205 yuan and 2120 yuan per ton respectively on March 23rd, with actual increases of 1160 yuan and 1115 yuan after control measures.
