On March 20th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China released statistics on the main production indicators for civil aviation in February. In February this year, the total passenger transport volume in civil aviation was 683.05 million, an increase of 11% compared to the previous year. Of this, the domestic passenger transport volume on domestic routes was 614.42 million, an increase of 10.5% year-on-year; and the international passenger transport volume was 68.63 million, an increase of 15.6% year-on-year. In terms of cargo and mail transport, in February, the civil aviation cargo and mail transport volume was 740,000 tons, an increase of 22.3% year-on-year. Of this, the domestic cargo and mail transport volume was 408,000 tons, an increase of 21.2% year-on-year; and the international cargo and mail transport volume was 332,000 tons, an increase of 23.8% year-on-year.
