Bezos seeks to raise $100 billion to use artificial intelligence in large-scale manufacturing.
Media reports citing informed sources revealed that e-commerce and cloud computing leader Amazon founder and global billionaire Jeff Bezos is planning to leverage cutting-edge AI technology to spark a super revolution in the manufacturing industry. He is in talks with Wall Street financial giants to raise $100 billion to establish a large fund for acquiring manufacturing companies worldwide and injecting them with artificial intelligence technology. "The integration of AI into everything" is no longer just a slogan at present, but an industrial-level migration that has already begun. It is particularly difficult to reverse in real-world fields such as manufacturing, logistics, Siasun Robot&Automation, defense, data centers, and industrial control. Bezos is now raising billions of dollars to lay out AI in the manufacturing industry, essentially betting that in the next phase, AI will no longer just sell computing power and models but directly transform factories, equipment, large-scale project processes, and asset returns. According to media reports citing informed sources and related investor documents, Bezos has met with leaders of several large asset management companies in recent months to raise funds for the project, including numerous private discussions during his visits to the Middle East and Singapore. A spokesperson for Bezos did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Multiple media outlets reported last November that Bezos stepped down as CEO of Amazon in 2021 but still serves as the chairman of the retail giant. He also co-founded and contributed most of the funding for Project Prometheus, a company focused on the application of artificial intelligence in the physical world. According to employee LinkedIn profiles, the artificial intelligence company founded by former Google senior technical person Vik Bajaj and Bezos has been recruiting artificial intelligence talent in San Francisco, Zurich, and London. Focus on the physical world AI capital war has begun! "Prometheus" strives to reshape the physical world with AI Some media reports stated that Bezos is participating in the management of the artificial intelligence technology company as a joint CEO. This means that the former world's richest man and Amazon founder will make a high-profile return to the global technology hub - Silicon Valley. In order to establish a long-term AI barrier, the most valuable aspect of "Prometheus," funded and co-founded by Bezos, may not be the ability of a single model but rather its ability to integrate perception, reasoning, control, simulation, manufacturing process data, and real feedback loop. Whoever can embed AI in production lines, equipment, Siasun Robot&Automation, experimental systems, and engineering decision processes first will be closer to "completely reshaping the physical world with AI." AI is no longer just an emotionless chatbot! The momentum of "AI integrating into everything" is sweeping in Bezos' plan to establish a $100 billion fund to acquire manufacturing companies and inject AI is not an isolated event; it is part of the same theme as the AI technology company "Prometheus", which he co-founded and focuses on "AI application in the physical world." Meanwhile, the world's richest man, Musk, is also pushing AI from the model layer to the physical system layer, with Tesla advancing the next generation self-developed AI chip - the AI6 chip. Musk's SpaceX AI (SpaceX and xAI have merged) and xAI have indicated that they will continue to purchase high-performance AI infrastructure from NVIDIA on a large scale. NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun has significantly raised the revenue opportunity in the AI computing infrastructure field for NVIDIA between 2025-2027 to at least $1 trillion at the latest GTC conference - far exceeding the $500 billion blueprint for AI computing infrastructure by 2026 in the previous GTC conference. He explicitly pointed to agentic AI and physical AI (the so-called "AI agent" and "physical AI") as the next wave of opportunities. These signs indicate that a group of the world's wealthiest and most resourceful individuals are upgrading AI from "simply generating auxiliary content" to "restructuring the real physical world's productivity revolution system." The recent surge in the trend of the "AI integrating into everything" physical world transformation is not just due to capital's enthusiasm but because the technical conditions have begun to close the loop: the large models are responsible for perception, understanding, and reasoning, while edge computing is responsible for low-latency execution. "AI+Siasun Robot&Automation" and other embodied AI and automation devices provide "hands and feet," digital twins and simulations provide training grounds, and data centers continuously drive down the cost of training and inferencing systems. A typical example is that Skild AI and NVIDIA have deployed a universal Siasun Robot&Automation "brain" on Foxconn's Blackwell AI server rack production line, allowing Skild AI-created Siasun Robot&Automation to produce NVIDIA server racks. NVIDIA itself also announced at the GTC conference an Open Physical AI Data Factory Blueprint aimed at Siasun Robot&Automation, visual agents, and autonomous driving, and is working with multiple Siasun Robot&Automation companies to advance the ambitions of physical AI. In other words, AI is no longer just sitting in the cloud answering questions but is beginning to enter assembly, transportation, inspection, scheduling, and control of these real-world physical processes.
