Recently, the National Energy Administration released the issuance and trading data of national renewable energy green power certificates for February 2026. In February 2026, the National Energy Administration issued 198 million green certificates, involving 610,200 renewable energy generation projects, with 150 million green certificates eligible for trading, accounting for 75.49%. The renewable energy generation corresponding to green certificates issued in January 2026 was 155 million, accounting for 78.13%.

In February 2026, there were 75.48 million green certificates traded nationwide, with 29.96 million traded under the CHINA GREEN electricity trading platform.
In February 2026, there were 45.52 million green certificates traded independently nationwide. Among them, there were 7.22 million green certificates traded for electricity generation in 2024, with an average price of 1.21 RMB per certificate, and 38.31 million green certificates traded for electricity generation in 2025, with an average price of 5.90 RMB per certificate.
