National Bureau of Statistics: From January to February, the national fixed asset investment increased by 1.8% year-on-year.
According to the data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to February, the national fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) reached 5.721 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.8% year-on-year.
National Bureau of Statistics data shows that from January to February, the fixed asset investment in China (excluding rural households) was 5.271 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same period last year. Among them, private fixed asset investment decreased by 2.6% compared to last year. Looking at the month-on-month comparison, fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) in February increased by 0.39%.
By industry, investment in the primary industry was 109.3 billion yuan, an increase of 17.4% year-on-year; investment in the secondary industry was 17.434 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.4%; investment in the tertiary industry was 34.194 trillion yuan, a decrease of 0.4%.
Industrial investment increased by 5.4% year-on-year. Among them, investment in mining increased by 13.0%, investment in manufacturing increased by 3.1%, and investment in electricity, heat, gas, and water production and supply industry increased by 13.1%.
Infrastructure investment increased by 11.4% year-on-year. Among them, investment in aviation transportation industry increased by 31.1%, investment in gas production and supply industry increased by 20.0%, and investment in water transportation industry increased by 17.9%.
By region, investment in the eastern region increased by 1.8% year-on-year, investment in the central region increased by 1.9%, investment in the western region decreased by 0.5%, and investment in the northeastern region decreased by 11.4%.
By type of registration, domestic enterprise fixed asset investment increased by 2.1% year-on-year, investment in enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan decreased by 3.0%, and investment in foreign-invested enterprises decreased by 9.1%.
