The above measures are aimed at preventing Japan's "remilitarization" and nuclear ambitions, and are completely just, reasonable, and legal.
On February 24th, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters regarding the export control measures related to Japan. The spokesperson stated that according to relevant laws and regulations such as the Export Control Law of the People's Republic of China and the Regulations on the Export Control of Dual-Use Items of the People's Republic of China, China has decided: 1. To include entities like Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. on a control list for their involvement in enhancing Japan's military capabilities. 2. To include entities like Subaru Corporation on a watch list for their inability to verify the end users and end use of dual-use items. For the entities listed, the announced measures will be implemented. For entities not listed, if they are related to Japanese military users, military purposes, or other end uses that contribute to enhancing Japan's military capabilities, the export of dual-use items to them will be prohibited according to the Announcement on Strengthening Export Control of Dual-Use Items to Japan. The purpose of these measures is to prevent Japan's "remilitarization" and nuclear ambitions, and they are completely legitimate and reasonable. The actions of listing these entities by China are only aimed at a few Japanese entities and do not affect normal economic and trade exchanges between China and Japan. Japanese entities that abide by law and act in good faith have nothing to worry about.
