SSY GROUP (02005) announced that its metoprolol succinate hydrochloride has been approved and registered by the China National Medical Products Administration as an active pharmaceutical ingredient for use in marketed formulations.
Metoprolol succinate hydrochloride is mainly used for (i) secondary prevention to reduce mortality after myocardial infarction; (ii) hypertension; (iii) effort-induced angina; and (iv) controlling supraventricular tachycardia and ventricular arrhythmias.
