The net loss attributable to equity holders narrowed by 16% to HK$253 million, with a basic loss per share of 3.27 HK cents. The final dividend for each ordinary share is 28.48 HK cents, making the total annual dividend for each ordinary share 38.25 HK cents. Building on its leadership position in the region, Viu continues to focus on providing high-quality, regional, and localized content for audiences in 15 markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa. During the year, Viu added a net of 1.3 million paying users, reaching a total of 16.8 million paying users. Strong performances were seen in Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia, primarily due to closer collaborations with local partners and strategies to increase market penetration in these key markets. Looking ahead, Viu will prioritize investments in established markets to achieve economies of scale. The key to this growth lies in our continuous expansion of a balanced and carefully curated content portfolio covering various genres and languages. With a focus on high-quality content, we launched over 200 new productions, including several new Korean dramas, expanded Chinese-language programming to meet increasing demand in the region, and a range of ViuOriginals tailored for local audiences. Popular series like "Taxi Driver 3" from South Korea and "Shine on You" in Chinese have significantly increased paying users and engagement in multiple markets. Viu's subscriber base continues to grow, and with prudent content investments, Viu's subscription revenue increased by 13%, while the over-the-top (OTT) business EBITDA increased by 56%.
