From October to December 2025, the overall residential housing price index in Macao was 191.8, a slight increase of 0.1% from the previous period. In Taipa (200.1), it rose by 1.0%, while on the Macau Peninsula (189.7), it dropped by 0.3%.
According to the data from the Statistics and Census Bureau of Macao, the overall residential property price index for Macao in the period from October to December 2025 was 191.8, a slight increase of 0.1% compared to the previous period (September to November 2025). In specific areas, Taipa (200.1) saw a 1.0% increase, while the Macao Peninsula (189.7) experienced a 0.3% decrease. The spot residential index (204.6) increased by 0.2% from the previous period. When divided by age of buildings, the index for buildings aged 6 to 10 years rose by 3.6%, while those over 20 years saw a decrease of 1.9%. The index for new properties (238.8) increased by 0.7%. In terms of unit size, the index for properties of 100 square meters and above increased by 1.6%, while those from 75 to 99.9 square meters decreased by 2.0%. When classified by the number of floors, buildings with seven floors or more saw an increase of 0.4%, while those with seven floors or fewer decreased by 0.2%. In quarterly statistics, the overall residential property price index for Macao in the fourth quarter of 2025 increased by 0.1% compared to the third quarter, with the spot residential index slightly decreasing by 0.1% and the new property index increasing by 1.5%. The overall residential property price index for the whole year of 2025 decreased by 9.4% to 195.5 compared to 2024, with the spot index (211.1) also decreasing by 9.3%.
