The stocks with the highest net purchases by Bei Shui were CSPC PHARMA (01093), XIAOMI-W (01810), and TRACKER FUND OF HONG KONG (02800). The stocks with the highest net sales by Bei Shui were Zijin Mining Group (02899), China Mobile Limited (00941), and CNOOC (00883).
Among the active trading stocks on the Hong Kong Stock Connect (Shanghai) were CSPC PHARMA (01093) with a net purchase of 936 million Hong Kong dollars. This was due to CSPC PHARMA signing a strategic cooperation and licensing agreement with AstraZeneca for the development of innovative long-acting peptide drugs.
TRACKER FUND OF HONG KONG (02800) saw a net purchase of 589 million Hong Kong dollars, as the overall trend in the Hong Kong stock market was positive due to factors like profit recovery, improved liquidity, low valuations, and policy support.
Other stocks like BABA-W (09988), YOFC (06869), and CHINA CHUNLAI (01969) also saw net purchases on this day. However, stocks like Shandong Gold Mining (01787) and Zijin Mining Group (02899) experienced net sales as gold stocks were sold off due to epic volatility in the precious metals market.
Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (00981) also saw net selling on this day, as there were rumors in the market about the approval of the H200 chip in China. Additionally, companies like China Mobile (00941), CNOOC (00883), and Tencent (00700) saw net sales as well.
