On January 28, the National Energy Administration released the national electricity statistics for 2025. By the end of 2025, the national cumulative installed generating capacity reached 3.89 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 16.1%. Among them, CECEP Solar Energy had an installed generating capacity of 1.20 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 35.4%; wind power installed capacity was 640 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 22.9%. In 2025, the average utilization of generating equipment for power plants with 6,000 kilowatts or more nationwide was 3,119 hours, a decrease of 312 hours compared to the same period last year.
