On January 23, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a special meeting to discuss and deploy measures to stabilize beef cattle production and accelerate dairy industry support. The meeting emphasized that the task of stabilizing beef and dairy production and promoting upgrades is still very heavy. In the current focus, efforts should be made to accelerate the implementation of various support policies, stabilize basic production capacity in every possible way, strengthen the connection between banks, governments, enterprises, and households, increase credit support, promote the integrated development of dairy farming and processing. In the medium to long term, efforts should be made to strengthen the foundation, plan systematically for the high-quality development of the industry, with the goal of stabilizing production, improving quality, and increasing efficiency. All links in the industry chain such as forage, feed, breeding, veterinary care, management, and processing should work together to fill gaps and promote the upgrading of the entire industry chain, continuously improving the quality of beef and dairy cattle production. Cooperation between departments, coordination from top to bottom, and cohesion of workforces should be strengthened to ensure the effective implementation of all measures and achieve practical results.
