On December 15, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission included the "Hong Kong Stablecoin Exchange" in the list of suspect virtual asset trading platforms.
The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong website shows that on December 15, the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong has added "Hong Kong Stablecoin Exchange" to the alert list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms.
The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong stated that the entity claimed to be a virtual asset trading platform operating on the aforementioned website, suspected of conducting unlicensed activities/engaging in virtual asset-related fraudulent activities. The entity falsely claimed to be jointly established by "Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Stock Connect, Hong Kong Futures Exchange", when in fact there is no connection with any of them.
