On December 4th, the person in charge of the Treaty and Law Department of the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters regarding the European Union's termination of the WTO dispute case against China. The Ministry of Commerce stated that China has always believed that the EU's initiation of the case is unfounded. Therefore, the EU's decision to terminate the case is the right choice. China consistently abides by the rules of the WTO and will continue to firmly uphold the rules-based multilateral trading system with practical actions.
