On November 7th, the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued the approval of Inner Mongolia Shuangxin Environmental Protection Materials Co., Ltd.'s initial public offering of stocks. It is reported that Shuangxin Environmental Protection plans to be listed on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, with China International Finance Limited as its sponsoring institution, aiming to raise 18.6538 billion yuan.
According to the prospectus, Shuangxin Environmental Protection is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and sales of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), special polyvinyl alcohol fibers, vinyl acetate (VAC), and calcium carbide (calcium carbide) and other products in the PVA industry chain. It has a full industry chain layout for polyvinyl alcohol. Calcium carbide, as the "cornerstone" of the chemical industry, is mainly used to produce acetylene and then synthesize PVC, PVA, BDO, and other important chemical materials, serving as a fundamental raw material for the upstream of the organic chemical industry. Polyvinyl alcohol is a water-soluble degradable polymer material with many properties such as bonding, fiber-forming, emulsion stability, gas barrier, film-forming, biodegradability, etc. It is mainly used to produce industrial additives, special fibers, adhesives, safety glass interlayer film (PVB film), water-soluble film, optical film, etc., widely used in fine chemical industry, green building, papermaking, fiber, automotive, degradable packaging, optoelectronics, pharmaceuticals, and other industries, and is a key supported direction for the development of new materials by the country.
