CIRTEK HLDGS (01433) announced that Ernst & Young has resigned as the company's auditor, effective from October 15, 2025. The reason for the resignation is due to the increased workload in auditing caused by the overseas operations of the group for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, as the company and Ernst & Young could not reach an agreement on the audit fees for the 2025 financial year.
The Board of Directors further announced that, upon the recommendation of the Audit Committee, the Board has appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as the company's new auditor, effective from October 15, 2025, to fill the temporary vacancy left by Ernst & Young's resignation, and to serve until the end of the company's next annual general meeting of shareholders.
