The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has organized the compilation of the "2024-2025 National Carbon Emission Trading Market Quota Total and Distribution Plan for the Steel, Cement, and Aluminum Smelting Industries (Consultation Draft)", and is now openly soliciting opinions.
On September 30th, according to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, with the approval of the State Council, the steel, cement, and aluminum smelting industries have been included in the national carbon emission trading market management. In order to carry out the quota allocation work for the steel, cement, and aluminum smelting industries, in accordance with the "Interim Regulations on Carbon Emission Trading Management" and the "Work Plan for the Coverage of the National Carbon Emission Trading Market in the Steel, Cement, and Aluminum Smelting Industries", the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has organized the preparation of the "2024, 2025 National Carbon Emission Trading Market Steel, Cement, and Aluminum Smelting Industries Quota Total and Allocation Plan (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)", which is now publicly soliciting opinions.
