The Hong Kong Logistics Association launches its first ESG rating system
On June 12th, the Hong Kong Logistics Association (HKLA) announced the launch of the first ESG Supply Chain Management (SCM) rating and certification course in the logistics industry.
On June 12, the Hong Kong Logistics Association (HKLA) announced the launch of the first ESG SCM rating and certification course in the logistics industry, promoting green transformation and innovative development in the logistics industry.
HKLA's ESG SCM rating and certification project has received strong support from the Hong Kong Transport and Logistics Bureau, with the ESG certification course being subsidized by 80% of the Maritime and Aviation Training Fund (MATF) provided by the bureau. In fact, companies such as the Hong Kong Airport Authority, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL), the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), and U-Freight Limited are participating in the ESG rating.
