Global Top 10 Popular Mobile Game Downloads in March Released, Garena's "Free Fire" Tops the List.
Garena's "Free Fire" (including "Free Fire MAX") has received over 27 million downloads, ranking first on the global mobile game download chart for March.
According to Sensor Tower store intelligence data, Garena's "Free Fire" (including "Free Fire MAX") has exceeded 27 million downloads, ranking first in the global mobile game download chart for March. India is the game's largest market, contributing 32.3% of the downloads; followed by Indonesia and Brazil markets with 17.2% and 7.4% respectively. On March 15, to celebrate the Holi festival in India, the game launched a new event "Holi Ring" with various gift packs and new skins updates. On March 30, with Ramadan approaching, the "Wall Royale" event went live and introduced new themed items, receiving positive feedback from players in major markets, leading to a peak in game downloads and revenue.
Thanks to its rich publishing experience and well-known IP, Activision Blizzard's new tactical competitive mobile game "Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile" achieved impressive results in its first month of release, ranking second in downloads with over 22 million downloads and topping the growth chart. India is the game's largest market, contributing 24.6% of the downloads; the USA market ranks second with 15% of the downloads, and the third-ranked Brazil market with 6.8%.
The top five ranking games also include "Roblox", Miniclip's "Subway Surfers", and Gametion's "Ludo King".
In March 2024, global mobile game downloads on the App Store and Google Play reached 4.29 billion, with a 8.2% increase compared to the previous month. India ranked first with 739 million downloads, accounting for 17.2% of the global total. The USA market ranked second with 7.9% of the downloads, and Brazil ranked third with 7.8%.
With its smooth combat mechanics and immersive gaming experience, NetEase's "Blood Strike" achieved impressive results after its global release on March 21, with over 6.6 million downloads in March and a staggering 196% increase compared to the previous month, ranking seventh in download growth. In addition to retaining existing players through new battle passes, skins, and content updates, the game's rich rewards and excellent word-of-mouth have led to great success in Brazil and Mexico, with over 80% of downloads coming from organic growth.
