Tencent WorkBuddy and CodeBuddy teams announce compensation plan for DeepSeek model service outage

On October 16, the Tencent Cloud WorkBuddy and CodeBuddy teams released the "Announcement on DeepSeek Model Service Anomaly and Compensation." In response to the previous DeepSeek model service anomaly, they will fully refund the credits consumed by affected users while using DeepSeek between October 8 and 14; at the same time, all users of the domestic versions of WorkBuddy and CodeBuddy will receive an additional 500 credits. Previously, DeepSeek apologized for the service system failure and announced a compensation plan, under which the amount consumed within 7 days by affected users' accounts will be fully refunded in the form of bonus credits.
