Newly synthesized small molecules can "precisely kill" cancer cells.

The French National Center for Scientific Research recently introduced on its official website that it has successfully designed and synthesized a new type of small molecule "phospholipid degrader" in a research project it participated in. This molecule can induce the death of cancer cells that cause tumor recurrence and are resistant to standard treatment. The research results are expected to become an effective supplementary therapy to current cancer chemotherapy.
