Goldman Sachs expects the US dollar to continue its decline against Asian currencies.

Goldman Sachs stated that after recent progress in trade negotiations, the potential direction for the USD/Asian currency pair is still downwards. It mentioned that despite recent progress in US-China trade negotiations, the main themes in the market have not changed. These themes include: the trend of gradually diversifying investments from US assets should continue; Asian exporters are likely to continue converting US dollars into local currencies; and if the Asian region engages in trade negotiations with the US, currency devaluation may become more difficult.
