Chicago corn futures fell more than 1.2%, soybean oil rose by about 3.5%, and New York cocoa rose by about 9.2%.
On Tuesday in the New York session, the Bloomberg Grains Subindex fell 0.23% to 30.7302 points, briefly showing a V-shaped reversal, hitting a daily low of 30.2534 points at 22:18 Beijing time. CBOT corn futures dropped 1.23% to $4.4250 per bushel, reaching a daily low of $4.3650 at 22:18. CBOT wheat futures rose 0.49% to $5.1775 per bushel. CBOT soybean futures rose 0.35% to $10.75 per bushel, while soybean meal futures fell 1.51% and soybean oil futures rose 3.47%. ICE raw sugar futures rose 2.71%, ICE white sugar futures rose 2.95%. ICE Arabica coffee futures fell 0.64%, while coffee "C" futures rose 0.44%. Robusta coffee futures rose 1.19%. New York cocoa futures rose 9.19% to $9925 per ton. London cocoa futures rose 5.67%. Ghana will increase its domestic cocoa processing capacity. ICE cotton futures fell 0.33%.
