The Ministry of Commerce is promoting the construction of a new system for the recycling and utilization of industrial solid waste.

According to the Ministry of Commerce, the current power batteries for new energy vehicles in China are entering a stage of large-scale retirement, and photovoltaic modules and wind turbine equipment will also soon face a peak period of retirement. The recycling and utilization of "the new three types" of solid waste is related to green development, energy security, and the well-being of the people. The Ministry of Commerce will study and establish a "1+N" working system, accelerate the improvement of top-level institutional design, and promote the introduction of relevant policy documents. Different strategies will be implemented for power batteries, photovoltaic modules, wind turbine equipment, etc., while also promoting the integration and application of artificial intelligence in the recycling process, and continuing pilot projects for the development of a recycling system for renewable resources.
