The top five stocks in terms of declines among the components of the London Stock Exchange that day were: British Petroleum fell 2.38%; UK United Food Group fell 1.16%; paper company Mondi fell 0.92%; medical technology company ConvaTec fell 0.78%; and household cleaning company Reckitt Benckiser Group fell 0.62%.
