Goldman Sachs' Petershill business is currently raising funds for its fifth flagship fund. Insiders revealed that the fundraising target for this fund is approximately $5 billion, similar in size to the previous flagship fund. Petershill focuses on acquiring minority stakes in asset management companies in order to gain access to their management fees, profits, or performance fees. Its portfolio includes well-known institutions such as ArcLight Capital Partners and Francisco Partners.
