Report: Sony Pictures has acquired the rights to adapt Labubu's film and television works and plans to create a feature film.

According to Variety, Sony Pictures has acquired the film and television adaptation rights for the popular toy IP Labubu, and plans to create a feature film based on this globally popular toy, and even potentially expand it into a series of film and television IPs. The film project is currently in the very early stages, and the creative team and producers have not yet been determined. Sony Pictures has not commented on the matter yet.
