China Nonferrous Mining (01258.HK): Due to the temporary suspension of production at the Qianbixi Southeast Mine, the copper output from its own mines in 2025 will be adjusted to 140,000 tons.
Wisdom Financial News APP, China Nonferrous Mining (01258.HK) announced that at the end of June this year, the inner wall of the deputy shaft of the Qianbixi Southeast Mine owned by China Nonferrous Mining Limited (the Company) and its subsidiary China Nonferrous Africa Mining Company Limited was damaged and collapsed, resulting in injuries to one person. On July 23 of this year, the Company has released a public announcement disclosing the relevant situation. After the incident, the company attached great importance to it, arranged for the temporary suspension of production at the Qianbixi Southeast Mine, and organized experts to conduct on-site inspections and evaluations. After investigation, it was found that the main and deputy shafts of the Qianbixi Southeast Mine passed through multiple water-bearing layers. Although grouting works were carried out before, the pre-treated concrete shaft walls were subjected to long-term erosion, leading to varying degrees of damage to the shafts and local cracking.
