Former president of Chongqing Institute of Science and Technology Research, Wang Yu, has been removed from office and expelled from the party.

After investigation, Wang Yu has lost his ideal beliefs, betrayed his original mission, been disloyal and dishonest to the party, and resisted organizational scrutiny; violated organizational principles by not reporting personal related matters as required; lost his integrity by illegally accepting gifts, obtaining large returns through private lending, engaging in power-money transactions, exploiting his position for personal gain in project contracting and fund disbursement, and illegally accepting large sums of money.
