Today, reporters learned at the 2025 World Power Battery Conference on "Strength of Quality Chain Empowering Power Battery Industry Development" that since 2024, a total of 1724 strong quality chain projects have been implemented nationwide, solving 18254 quality blockage points. A relevant person from the State Administration for Market Regulation stated that in the development of the power battery industry, it is necessary to strengthen the overall chain quality management, prevent and resolve major safety risks; accelerate the establishment of a carbon footprint measurement standard system, improve the certification system for the secondary use of power batteries, and promote the establishment of standards and norms covering the entire lifecycle including research and development, design, production, manufacturing, operation maintenance, retirement and recycling, and reuse, in order to jointly support the green and low-carbon development of the power battery industry. It is important to create an environment conducive to the establishment of a strong quality chain in the power battery industry, and ensure that the supply chain in the power battery industry in China is open, stable, and safe.
